AFS and Precor Develop Studio Content Program
Series to Identify Key Business Issues for Success

(CHICAGO, IL/WOODINVILLE, WA) – AFS and Precor today announced a content marketing development program that will address the major challenges facing studio owners and developers.

“Precor is committed to helping facility owners grow their businesses and they have a long-standing track record of providing valuable educational programs for the vertical markets they serve,” said Josh Leve, AFS founder and CEO. “We look forward to working with them to produce relevant education and business resources that will enable studio operators to grow their businesses.”

The new program will produce content that will help studio owners better understand basic business issues including facility structure, pricing, marketing, staffing, equipment, and operations by identifying key strategies to implement for an efficient and profitable studio.  The program’s content development will focus on three studio disciplines:

  • Keys to Successful Functional Training
  • Keys to Successful Personal Training
  • Keys to Successful Small Group Training

“We’re absolutely thrilled that Precor has joined AFS and we’re especially pleased that they are committed to helping AFS develop key learning for our studio market,” said Josh Leve, AFS founder and CEO.  “Precor has a long-standing track record of providing valuable educational programs for the vertical markets they serve.”

“With the introduction of Queenax functional training in the U.S., Precor has developed strong insights and content to support both the exercise and business side of building a profitable small group training program,” said Doug Johns, Precor Executive Vice President of Marketing. “We hope that our insights will help facility owners and we see our participation with AFS as an opportunity to learn from studio owners. Deeper interaction with studios through AFS will help Precor improve our product and education offering.”

AFS and Precor will also collaborate on two research studies—Best Practices in Studio Marketing (April 2016 release) and the second annual Studio Operations & Financial Benchmarking Study (September 2016 release).
