AFS, Gym Factory (Spain) Enter Into ‘Cooperation Agreement’
(OAKLAND, CA, MADRID, SPAIN, January 24, 2018) – The Association of Fitness Studios (AFS) and Gym Factory, the leading fitness organization on the Iberian peninsula, today announced a cooperation agreement to enhance the opportunities of the audiences of both groups.
AFS is the only trade association focused on the boutique fitness studio market globally, and Gym Factory produces two publications of the same name covering the Spain and Portugal markets as well as hosting an International Congress and Trade Show in Madrid (May 10-12, 2018). 
“The synergy in AFS and Gym Factory working together is obvious,” said Josh Leve, AFS founder and CEO. “We are very happy to collaborate to provide trend information to the Gym Factory audience and help expand the international reach of AFS.”
AFS will provide research and content which will be made available in Spanish and Portuguese in the Gym Factory publications as well as online. Gym Factory will also provide updates on the boutique market development in their part of the world to AFS.
As AFS expands its international presence, this is the first of several partnerships with media and research organizations that are being set up in 2018.

After a period of economic challenges, the Spanish and Portuguese fitness markets have seen a resurgence in the past two years as the overall economic climate has improved.
