FitGrid Joins AFS, ‘Boosting Client Retention by 60% and More’

(OAKLAND, CA, NEW YORK, NY, February 27, 2018)  – The Association of Fitness Studios (AFS) today proudly announced and welcomed the addition of FitGrid to its membership and sponsorship ranks.

Founded in March 2017, FitGrid harnesses the power of the community – from studio to instructor to client - to increase business growth in fitness studios.  Its most recent product, FitGrid Pro, focuses on the connection between instructors and clients, and helps studios boost overall retention by continuously motivating and training their instructors on how to boost their individual retention rates.

“We’re very excited to welcome FitGrid into AFS membership and we appreciate them also joining our sponsorship program,” said Josh Leve, AFS founder and CEO.  “FitGrid offers a cutting edge solution to an age-old problem and they do it at an incredible price point.”

The FitGrid Pro solution – which studios can access for four months free, if signed up for through AFS - has two components.   First, instructors receive a simple and intuitive app that provides fast and efficient client follow-up capabilities, key information on classes and clients (which helps instructors to provide a better in-room experience and more personalized feedback to individuals), and shared note taking capabilities, among other features.  Second, the studio receives an innovative and easy-to-use Admin system that allows it to see the effectiveness of these instructor efforts.

“We’ve developed an innovative new community engagement system that’s been shown to increase client retention by 60% and more.  Best of all we believe in it so much we’re prepared to offer it to AFS members at $0 for 4 months,” said Nt Etuk, CEO of FitGrid. “The reports our system generates will take any studio business to the next level.”

For those who might wonder if instructors will see the need and “get with the program” FitGrid’s experience has already proven that to be a non-issue.  Instructors and owners rave about the product and the greater level of connection they feel with clients.

“Our tools provide studios and their clients with unparalleled opportunities to engage with and gain insight into their communities,” said Etuk. “These are critical tools to increase retention, cultivate a following, deepen client connection, and drive repeat business.”
