Tony has been involved in the health and fitness industry for the last 25 years. He has a Master's degree in Exercise and Movement Science, from the University of Oregon, where he completed an additional two years in a doctoral program focusing on Exercise and Sport Psychology. He participated in a number of research studies, served as an Assistant Editor for the highly regarded Research Quarterly in Exercise and Sport, and authored and/or co-authored several published, peer reviewed research papers before leaving academia.
Inside the world of the large health and fitness club companies, Tony has served as a certified personal trainer (NASM-CPT), as a single-site and regional manager, and as a Corporate-level Director of Education.
