AFS Joins the Coalition of Health and Fitness Leaders
Banding Together with Other Industry Leading Companies to Help Fitpros Overcome Challenges Resulting from COVID-19
(MINNEAPOLIS, MN, CHICAGO, IL, April 8, 2020) – The Association of Fitness Studios (AFS) and the Coalition of Health and Fitness Leaders (CHFL) today announced the inclusion of AFS as part of CHFL’s mission to help fitness professionals navigate the challenges resulting from COVID-19. 
AFS joins an impressive and ever-growing list of leading fitness organizations working together to help the industry through these difficult times, including IDEA, ISSA, WIFA, PTA Global, Precision Nutrition, Fitness Revolution and many others.
Per their website, “The Coalition is made up of leading health and fitness industry companies who have banded together to help move the entire industry forward.” They go on to say, “By coming together, the CHFL hopes to help as many people as possible – now and in future initiatives.”

With gyms and fitness studios closed across the nation, nearly 50 additional companies have joined the coalition to support fitness professionals through free resources and webinars.
