SUCCEED! Online Event Overwhelming Success!
Record 4,434 Registrants for 2-days of Education
(MINNEAPOLIS, MN, May 6, 2020) – The Association of Fitness Studios (AFS) proudly announced to the fitness industry today the incredible success of its SUCCEED! Virtual Online Event held May 2-3, 2020.
The event featured two full days of education, a keynote presentation by author and fitness leader Petra Kolber, the best of AFS and SUCCEED! presenters, a virtual ‘swag bag’ for all attendees, CECs/CEUs – and the ability to attend for free.
“We’re thrilled beyond belief,” said Josh Leve, AFS Founder and CEO and the conceiver of the SUCCEED! Online Event. “In these tough, COVID induced times, the SUCCEED! Online Event proved our Community has a major desire for credible, unbiased, quality education.”
Overall, that Community – for the SUCCEED! Online Event - counted 4,434 registrants from at least 78 countries, 46 U.S. states, plus Puerto Rico and Washington, DC, attesting to the size and scope of the AFS audience. And with post-event access options, that number will only get larger.
“We had a vision and thanks to great advice, strong sponsorship and the incredibly hard work of our team – we were able to make it happen,” said Leve. “We do admit to being pleasantly surprised that over 20% of our registrants came from non-US locations. Truly we are a global industry.”
The SUCCEED! Online Event also crossed facility lines, with strong representation from virtually all types - big boxes, chains, studios, “boutiques,” college/university, YMCA, JCC, and all disciplines as well.
The Event’s sponsorship lineup included FitOn (the “Ultimate” sponsor), with Myzone, Burnalong, BOSU®, and Power Systems as “Diamond” sponsors, and NASM/AFAA, Club Connect, NPE, UScreen, and PunchPass as “Platinum” sponsors.
